☼ Light Summer Makeup ☼

Hi guys! Today I'm doing my light summer makeup routine! Showing you step by step my routine and my staples for a light look! Hope you enjoy!

1.- Apply a light brightening concealer. I apply my Maybelline Age Rewind (which I love) in my under eye circles and a little farther in my face for a bright look!

2.- Apply powder. I apply an old Revlon Colorstay Powder (which I'm almost out) in my face. This helps setting the concealer.

3.- Apply a cream eyeshadow. I'm using my NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in Yoghurt, which is a really pretty champagne color, perfect for the lid!

4.- Apply a light color to the inner corner. I'm using another NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in Cottage Cheese, which is a pearl color.

5.- Apply eyeliner. I'm using just an old eyeliner that I have, you can use any black or brown eyeliner you have! The trick is to lightly apply it on the outer lower lashes for a fuller look!

6.- Apply your favorite waterproof mascara. Here I applied two of my favorites, Covergirl LashBlast Length in Black/Brown and Lancome Virtuose Mascara. Apply to lower and upper lashes!

7.- Apply a tinted lip balm. Here I was deciding between 2 of my favorite tinted lip balms, L'oreal Color Riche Lip balm in Rose Elixir and Maybelline Baby Lips in Grape Vine.

And my look is complete! What are your makeup staples for the summer?

NOTD: Essie - First Timer • 2013

Essie, essie, essie; you never let me down! The nail polish for today is Essie First Timer from the Resort Collection from this year! I would describe this color as a mix between a mint color and a true bright green. There is definitely a turquoise tinge to this one and it isn't quite a true green. A really original color!

2 coats + top coat, natural light

From left to right: OPI Gargantuan Green Grape, Essie First Timer and OPI Mermaid Tears.
Here's a picture comparing Essie first timer side by side with OPI Gargantuan Green Grape and OPI Mermaid Tears (review here).

Overall I really like this nail polish. I think is perfect for my skin tone and it applies like a dream!

Hope you guys enjoy! Would you go for a color like this?

Products I Regret Buying • 2013

So hi guys!! Today I am writing one of my favorite type of videos/post, the famous "Products I Regret Buying". A very controversial video/post! I think these are really helpful because it gives you other points of view on different products! I really like to research before splurging or buying a product most of the time! So here it is:

ps: not because this products didn't work for me, doesn't mean that they will not work on you, I am just giving my honest opinion!

- John Frieda Frizz-Ease Straight Fixation: I was really disappointed, because I love John Frieda products but this one I really didn't like. It left some type of residue on my hair, and it didn't do what it claimed! But my mom on the other hand loves this product!

- Neutrogena Alcohol-Free Toner: The reason I didn't like this product was purely because it broke me out! But it felt really nice on my skin! Again, on the other hand I gave this to my mom and she likes it!

- Essence My Skin 4 in 1 cleansing cream: This is one of the few products I HATE. First it broke me up. Second it felt really itchy on my skin and it felt like I had some type of acid that was kinda of destroying my skin. And third, this didn't claim any of the 4 things it said!

- X out Shine Control: I got this in one of my "My Glam" bag! I didn't like it because it felt like stretching my skin and I really didn't ever reach out for this product!

- Maybelline The Colossal Volume Express Waterproof Mascara: I didn't like this mascara because it was like "too" much for me, like it was like really dramatic, and the brush is really big so I ended up messing with all of my eye makeup!

- NYX Roll On Shimmer in Light Blue: Again, I got this in one "My Glam" bag. I didn't like it because the color isn't really wearable and it always left fall over  in my skin!

- Maybelline Super Natural Mat Foundation in Nude: This foundation was really hard to apply and blend. It is really dry and it didn't look natural! After like 1 hour it left like patches of foundation on my skin!

- Jordana Eyeliner in White: Well, this was like $99 cents. It was really cheap so I expected to work like it did. It isn't pigmented at all and it was so hard to apply. I had to like poke my eye with it!

Hope you guys enjoy! What are products that you regret buying?

Hi guys!! So pretty much I love watching videos and reading posts about what products people have used up; yeah, I know, I'm weird. The cool thing is you actually get to see what people think about the product!
Because of my love with "empties" I decided to start doing them. Maybe there's someone out there with my same opinion! Relax and read, hope you guys enjoy!

 - Bath & Body Works IntoThe Wild Body Lotion: I really like Bath & Body Works body lotions, they have amazing smells and the smell stays for a really long time. I have gotten a bunch of compliments from the Into the wild smell, it has like a tropical, fruity smell that wakes you up!

Paul Mitchell The Detangler Conditioner: I tried this small sample and I really didn't think it did that much, I would definitely not repurchase it!

Lush I Love Juicy Shampoo: I freakin love this shampoo! I have repurchase it a ton of times and I'm going to repurchase it again. It's a clarifying shampoo, I don't use it on it's own, I have try it alone and it does not work that great! I use first my favorite shampoo which is my clear something smooth shampoo and then I use this one, I think it's like the best combo ever, I have been using it for a really long time, maybe 10 months! And by the way it's smells AMAZIIING!!

Dove Damage Therapy Conditioner: Another sample. I think this conditioner was ok, it was like normal. I would not repurchase it!

Neutrogena Makeup Remover Towelettes: Touchy subject for me. I have tried a lot of make up removers towelettes, and I always come back to this ones, they are amazing, they take everything, they don't make my face itchy or sensitive! I have repurchase this a thousand of times I would continue to do it.

OPI RapiDry Top Coat: I got this baby sample in a set! I tried and it was ok, it dried up really fast, so that is a con. I think there are cheaper and better options out there. I would not repurchase it!

 - L'oreal Magic Lumi Concealer: I loveee this concealer, it brightens up your hole face and it's light! Overall it's a really good concealer! I would definitely buy it again!

Bath & Body Works Eucalyptus Mint anti-bacterial hand gel: I really like these anti bacterial gels, this smell was great!

BiorĂ© Nose Pore Strips: I really like nose pore strips, these worked really good. I would repurchase them!

- Sally Hansen Fast Acting Polish Remover: I really don't know what to say about this. It was a good nail polish remover, it removed every color, it didn't left my hands dry! Mmmm, that's all!

Organix Brazilian Keratin Therapy Conditioner: This is a really good conditioner, I like to rotate my conditioners but this is a line that I always come back to, they smell really good, they leave my hair soft, they are affordable, yada yada! I would repurchase it!

OPI Nail Strengthener: This really makes a difference, I've been using this for years, and my nails almost never break! I would repurchase it!

La Roche-Posay Effaclar gel moussant purifiant: I really like this face wash, I've been using them for years. They are really good when I'm with sensitive skin. I love the scent that it has! I would definitely repurchase it!

Well, that was all, hope you guys enjoy this post, and let me know in the comment below if you like empties posts!!

My OPI Glitter Nail Polishes • Nails

Hi guys! Don't you like glitter? It's just one of the best inventions! My favorite way to wear it is on nails! So today I'm showing you a piece of my nail polish collection! After, I can show you guys my non OPI glitter nail polish collection! Let's start!

Random fact: this was my first nail polish ever!
I got this nail polish a long time ago, but it's still one of my all time favorites! This is not a chunky glitter polish, it's really sheer so be sure to put a color under! I recommend using any type of blue tone or black nail polish! There’s a lot of depth to this polish, which makes it special! You can buy it here.

This polish! It has really chunky glitter, multicolor! Just like the name says! It's like a rainbow on your nails! You can buy it here.

Divine swine, definitely one of my favs! I have used it a LOT! I really like wearing it with OPI "Pamplona purple", I have a NOTD about it, so if you want to see it just click here. You can buy it here.

For me, this nail polish has become a tradition! Every time around christmas I put it on my nails! In my opinion this screams Christmas! I normally use this with a red polish underneath, but I'm sure it will still look good with nothing underneath. I have NOTD here. You can buy it here.

Teenage Dream is a baby pink glitter polish! It has a thick consistency, but surprisingly easy to apply! This looks gorgeous with a baby pink color underneath! I really like this nail polish! You can buy it here.

In the picture above you have swatches of every color! As you can see "Excuse Moi" and "Teenage Dream" are really opaque, so you really don't need to apply a color underneath! Every swatch is just on swept!

Hope you guys enjoy this post!! What's you favorite glitter nail polish?
