NOTD: Rally Pretty Pink!

As most of you know, I LOVE nail polish, and I have found THE nail polish! It is from the OPI Serena Glam Slam! France collection. This collection is based in  two Glam Slam! Duos. I have the duo that comes with OPI Rally Pretty Pink and Red Shatter. This collection was launched in May from 2011.

OPI Rally Pretty Pink (2 coats)

The pics above were Rally Pretty Pink!It is a rosy pink lilac with pink and gold micro-glitter. The gold is very predominant and it creates a peachy duo-chrome effect. The effect that creates remind me a lot of Chanel Peridot!

I think this polish requires two coats but if you like really opaque nails I would recommend 3 coats!

NOTD: Natural with a touch!

Hi everyone, today I'm doing just a small nail of the day! This nail look is perfect if your somewhere where you can't wear nail polish! It´s natural but with a glam touch! Hope you enjoy!

From left to right: OPI- Bubble Bath; Essie- Buy me a Cameo

The bad thing is that this look doesn´t last a lot! And it´s not because of the nail polish, I discover that nail polihes that are very sheer chip much easier!

Nail Polish Spring Trends

Hi sweeties,
You know when its cold the only thing you can think is about the warm weather, that mean's SPRING! The first thing that we think of spring is COLORS = oportunity for cosmetic companies to take new trends! Today I am just showing you my fav nail polish spring trends for this year. Hope you all enjoy!

1.- Hot Pinks with some shimmer! Hot pinks are always the trend so what's new? GLITTER OR SHIMMER! A trend for this spring is a hot pink with some shimmer to just spice it up! A good example is Butter London- Disco Biscuit (Nordstrom $14)

2.- Pastel Colors! Maybe you have already heard about this trend! Pastels are coming big for spring, in clothes, makeup and nail polishes! A good example is Dior Vernis- Garden Party (Nordstrom $23)

3.- Orange! Lovely orange. Perfect for spring, it cheers up your whole outfit and day! Essie make great oranges! Great example is Essie- Braziliant (Nordstrom $8)

4.- The weird green! A lot of new collections have this greeny polish. I just don't know how to describe it but it's a huge trend right now, especially the O.P.I- Did it on 'Em from the Nicki Minaj collection. (Ricky’s $9.99)

5.- Neon Colors! This is also a huge trend in nail polish as well in clothes! Neon colors give that edgy pop for spring! A great example is China Glaze- Neon Celtic Sun ( sallybeauty.com $5.99 $5)

6.- Nudes! I love this trend. This is more if you want an elegant look! Maybe for a wedding or an especial event! The nude nail polish gives the illusion of the perfect nail! A great example is Deborah Lippmann- Naked. (Barneys $16)

NOTD: Swiming in some Mermaid Tears!

Hi guys, today I have just a short NOTD. At first I wasn't doing this NOTD but I have got so many comments and positive feedback when I am wearing this nail polish (also one of my fav nail polishes on my collection) and it is OPI Mermaid Tears, from the Pirates of the Caribbean Collection! I got this nail polish for my birthday, that was last september. Before my birthday I saw a picture of the collection and I fell in love with it (but  I just got 1 nail polish from the collection).

DISCLAIMER: My NOTD aren't all the nail polishes that I use, I just post NOTD that have been commented!

From Left to Right:
- Silver Shatter: A pretty silver color with a shatter texture.
-  Skull & Glossbones: an amazing light grey.
- Steady as she rose: A baby pink color. 
- Sparrow me the drama: A gorgeous barbie pink.
- Planks a lot: A pretty lavander color.
- Stranger tides: a murky sage light green.
- Mermaid tears:

This is a picture that I took when I was wearing this polish. I describe this color as a tiffany blue color mixed with a little bit of green!

NOTD: Festive Purple!

Hi guys, I receive a lot (a lot: I refer 2 comments) of nice comments on my last "NOTD: Orange with a bronze touch!". Hope you like this one.

PS: I put new backround on my photos, it looks more professional!

 From left to right: "OPI Divine Swine" and "OPI Pamplona Purple".

I put on my nails 2 coats of "Pamplona Purple" and 1 coat of "Divine Swine".

NOTD: Polka dots!

Hi lovelies, so today I painted my toe nails and I just wanted to show you guys how I do it, it's pretty simple and it gives a fun touch to your nails!

This is the finish product:

So the things you are going to need:

A top coat and a nail strenghther, the ones I am using are: as a top coat I'm using a "Seche Vite" top coat, for me this is the best top coat ever and it dry really fast, and for the nail strengther I am using "O.P.I Nail Strengther".

The next thing you will need is a bobby pin, I recommend the round point ones beacause they do more precise dots, in the picture I have an  example.

 Then you just need the colors you are using, in my case for the base color I'm using a blue color from O.P.I called "Suzi says feng shui" (this was from the Hong Kong collection I recommend buying it at Amazon, beacause it is limited edition, I bought mine at Amazon!) for some dots I am using a grey- ish color from O.P.I called "Moon over Mumbai", I bought it at Ulta and for the last color that I also use for some dots is a lila color from O.P.I called "Rumple's wiggin" (This is from the shrek collection, this as well I reccomend buying it at Amazon).

So let's start:

1.- Start applying the nail strengther in all of your nails, this is to protect your nails.

2.- Apply the base color you are using, in my case I'm using "Suzi says feng shui", for the color I got I apply 2 coats. Let it dry!

3.- When the base color is done take your bobby pin and put on a paper a little dot with the other colors, put a little bit on the bobby pin and start dotting it on your nails!

4.- Apply a top coat to all of your nail. And your polka dot nails are done, is that easy!!

NOTD: Shatter with hot pink!!

Hi fashionistas,

So today I went to get my hands made at the salon, so I really wanted to try shatter nails. I want to show you how the nails look beacause they look so adorable. I watched the colors they put me, all is by O.P.I, so hope you enjoy!!

After they did a lot of the typical stuffs on my hands they put "nail envy by OPI", the girl said me that if i wanted the color to stay for more time i should apply this on every 2 days!!

Then i choose this color, it is "That's Hot! Pink" i think is so cute!! (she put 2 coats on)

Then she put on some of the "DS bold" .I reccomend that when you are using a shatter nail polish always use a glittery nail polish that match your color nail polish (only 1 coat).

And finally she put on the black shatter on.
